Speaker has power to expel MPs, who are making noise, for 1 day to 14 days. So yes, its true that opposition such as Congress , CPM MPs are making noise and stalling. But BJP too doesnt want wheel to roll. Otherwise, BJP speaker can simply expel noise making MPs for 1 day and get the business moving. . There are 543 MPs in Parliament. So as long as legislation fetches 273 votes, passing such legislation after expelling MPs isnt unfair or unedemocratic. Yes, if MPs are expelled and then legislation is passed with count below 273, then it is unfair. . But all that can be discussed after legislation passes. What we see now is --- Congress \ CPM makes noise and BJP speaker does expel them. So what we are seeing is an all party drama and nothing more. .

Why SoMoKe / CoBhAp oppose publicizing ALL land-ownership records in Delhi? .
