Interesting question for thoughts --- there is no one answer. . This fact has puzzled all evolutionary biologists starting from Darwin and none one has clear answer. . In monkeys , there are some monkeys which shout when predators comes and alter everyone, while some monkeys in the group just a walk away silently and predator would attack the group rather than solitary monkey who is walking away. . The money which alters all gets noticed by predators and often the predator gets angry and targets the money which altered all. . IOW, the money which alters all has much much higher chances of dying. . So as per "survival of the fittest" thesis, the trait that makes a monkey to become alterer should have died out long back. But it is still there, despite filtration of over 1000s of generations. . So what exception to "survival of the fittest" preserves such traits? . Please note that there is no universally agreed upon answer. So pls state state any answer that you think is logical. . See also . http://ift.tt/16ZCDxC
