Impact of self-paid media aka social media --- govt , supreme court etc forced to use auction to give mineral mines, spectrum etc. . Many tall leaders will run to collect credit. But please note that ALL Congress / BJP leaders never used open auction to allocate mines / spectrum and always used discretionary allotments. . But due to selfpaidmedia aka social media, the details of coal/spectrum scam came out and so SCjs were forced to rule that minerals / spectrums can be given only by auction. But before selfpaidmedia came, SCjs also supported dicretionary allotments. . So credit goes to voters and procedure of democracy, and no one else .
