Election commission's decision to put pictures of candidates will only increase number of spurious candidates in election and is a wrong one. Solution is to add father's name or husband's name and age , along with the name of candidate for "disambiguation". . Also election commission should advertise the fact that NATIONAL parties and STATE parties come in top band and in second band, and independents come in third band. This will reduce the possibility of independents with same name fooling voters. . Many people want fame for sake of it. And if Rs 25000 can tame his picture to 15 lakh voters, then Rs 25000 is worth for them. IOW, number of spurious independents will increase election commission puts picture of candidate on voting machine. .
